A Safe Place

Because we care about the safety of our children, we provide safety training and require church membership and a background check before anyone can work with the children at Harvest. When our families arrive each week we have an electronic check-in system, which not only allows us to better care for families, but also provides matching tags for children and parents. Matching tags are required to pick up children.

Kids Worship

We want to teach children to worship as part of the larger church body, but also to study God’s Word in a way they can best understand it. On Sunday mornings children younger than Kindergarten have care provided in our secure preschool wing. Once they reach Kindergarten through fifth grade they join the larger church for worship, but go to the children’s theater for Kids Worship before the sermon begins.

Harvest Kid’s Bible Club

Our Harvest Kid’s Bible Club combines fun and excitement with an ongoing adventure of learning the Bible to help children grow in the knowledge of love of God. Through interactive learning activities, they will get to know Bible stories and the principles of God’s Word. We meet each Wednesday 6p-7:30p. Register online to be a part of this exciting adventure!

Vacation Bible School

Every summer we provide a week-long Bible school for children through 5th grade. This year’s VBS will be The Great Jungle Journey as we discover more about the wonders of God’s creation, making new friends along the way. Mark your calendars for July 29-Aug 2 and keep an eye out for more information.

CentriKid

CentriKid is the children’s camp hosted in different locations all around the country. For grades 3-6, it is specifically designed to be exciting, attention-grabbing and life-changing for that age group. This year we are going back to Eagle Eyrie near Lynchburg June 24-28. This year’s theme is Wow Factor (and you will be wowed!). The cost is $409, but you can shave that down by working on the dinners described below!

CentriKid Dinners

Through the hard work of our children, our children’s ministry leadership and our church volunteers, the children going to CentriKid get to contribute to providing for their camp experience. By selling tickets to meals and serving at those meals, they raise money to help pay their way to camp! Mark your calendar for three meals and help our CentriKid campers get to camp! The meals will be February 3, March 23 and April 27. Each meal will be different, so watch for more information on upcoming meals and ticket sales!

All of our off-site events require a HFBC medical release form. If the form is signed and notarized, it will be good for the entire calendar year. If it is not notarized, a new form will be needed for each event. Download the form with the above button.
